Teleportation Demonstration

I don't think there is any way humanely possible for me to not blog Sir Nadroj's awe-inspiring MOC straight away. It's just too cool. Based on Disneyland's 'Alien Encounter: The ExtraTERRORestrial' attraction, Nadroj (Schwartz)'s latest Lifelite masterpiece includes a great smoke machine as well. I can't put how amazing this creation is into words, so here is the video Schwartz made to accompany the MOC:

And, to cap it all of, the title rhymes. You can't get much better than that, folks!

Nightfolk preview

I love this Bulky metal robot suit, "Nightfolk Preview", which I found on the Brickspace Flickr group. It was created by wunztwice, and you can see it on Flickr by clicking here.

'Cutlass' mercenary clipper

This 'Cutlass' mercenary clipper was created by samuel diprose and is a great example of the 'adding a cool background ' tips and tricks post I did a while ago. It's a great design and has been cut out very well. You can find it on MOC pages by clicking here .

Darth Vader and the Clone Orchestra

There's not much to say other than this is really funny. It's a good idea to have lego people playing in an orchestra, and I don't know why someone hasn't done it sooner. The effects are really good too, but it lacks a story.

Post Apocalyptic Pitbull

This "Post Apocalyptic Pitbull" was created by Shannon Ocean. I cant be bothered to write much more, but basically it's just really cool and the gun turret on top is the best bit, it must have taken a while to design. You can view Shannon Ocean's MOC page by clicking here.

The Kingfisher

Nnnnnneeeeaaaawwww!
That's the sound of Shannon Ocean's latest spaceship fighter thing. It's blue, with a little bit of orange, and it's really cool! I especially like the SNOT basis of the design, and that great cockpit piece from the old Naboo Fighter. Check out this, and lots more of Shannon's fighters, at the MOCpages article here.

Druzynik

I think this is meant to be from Captain Scarlet, and it was created by Ron Haller. It's pretty cool, I like the way he made to make it so survy and smooth using lego. Hope you like it! You can find it on MOC pages by clicking here.

Armageddon

This vehicle called "Armageddon" was created by Nannan Zhang. It actually works and there is a video you can watch of it (Look above) in action. You can read a book... I mean a description, and view some more pictures by clicking here. I really would reccomend you check it out. I love the detail on the caterpillar tracks and the working missiles that shoot out the front. I also like the fan type thing attatched to the front, which makes it the ultimate killing machine.

C-107 Superhawk

This C-107 Superhawk (????) was created by Chris deBree. I especially like the amazing detail on things like the weapons and the door, and it's so big (supposedly 169 studs long). It must have taken ages to make, and there are loads more pictures of it which you can see by clicking here. My only criticizm is that it is a terrible picture, it's blurry, dark and the background is too lively.

Fantasy troll

I don't know why, but I really like this fantasy troll. The use of plants is really clever, and it is a very good picture (Good resolution, nice background).

The Moon Melon

ElNickre does it again with his weird Moon Melon. Though it has nothing to do with the moon, or melons, there's something about the brilliant building techniques in this MoC that really sells it to me. The spikes on the far shoulder are mounted on a lego 'plate' piece, and there's also an interesting bit where ElNickre has used the 'backsack' piece and cherry piece to create a complicated piece of 'Mechatecture'! This is beyond nannism, for those of you who were comparing the two.
I only have one problem with this piece: the image quality. Yes, it was probably compressed for the net, but it's at a very high ISO (so the shutter speed is faster), which gives this otherwise brilliant piece a nasty, grainy quality to it. Check out more pictures of the Moon Melon here, or see more of the mysterious ElNickre's creations here.

Giger's Alien gets wet

I'm in an Alien mood this month, so sorry if you don't like it. This picture particularly appealed to me because of its background, and the water droplets on the Alien. It could be a shot from a Brickfilm! Whoever made this has certainly done H.R Giger's Alien justice. ;-D

Predator

RAWR! I'm in a good mood today, so I'll post another of my cool pics I used for the new header. Well, actually, I'm always in a good mood! lol! So, here is a vignette of a 'Predator', as in the film 'Alien vs. Predator'. I've never seen a Predator before, since the film is so dark you can't see anything! Oh, I saw the film Alien too. It was very strangely directed. So, I'll give you three guesses as to who designed this...come on, you should know this...come on...oh well, it was Nathan Sawaya, the lawyer-turned-LEGO artist. Ok, bye!
ps. Don't forget that October 1st is National Brachiosaurus Day!

Post-Apocalyptic Robot

ARGH! If you thought that huge LEGO minifig in the last post was scary, check this dude out! I'm sure as hell he's based on something from a video game, but I'm not a video game mainiac, so I wouldn't know. This creation is really cool, but I don't know who made it, 'cos I just did a google image search for 'cool lego creations', in making the new banner for this blog. lol.

Blue Ganmen

blue3.jpg
There's something about this adorable Exo-Force MOC that really appeals to me. It's probably the face, with the red eyes and white teeth. I also like the clever building tecniques in the feet and hands. Made by TheEvilGingivitis, Brickshelf ID 61966.

Mechy mech mech thang

Now, I'm not one for Exo-Force, but this mech is just rather cool. I like the way the legs are articulated, the bent-back bit nearer the bottom, emulating a pose like a velociraptor's. Made by KidThor-nice name, eigh?

[Gold 05.08] Bursting alien thing

Wow, look at this wacky vignette. It must be from some film or summin, I don't know. Anyways, it looks cool, and there's lots of interesting building techniques.

And the winner, of the May brickspace Gold is...
BURSTING ALIEN THING!

Wow, look at this wacky vignette. It must be from some film or summin, I don't know. Anyways, it looks cool, and there's lots of interesting building techniques.
