I saw this car whilst fishing around on Nannan Zhang's photostream, it's not that exciting but I love the way it looks so not-square. The mark of a truly good builder is that their creations look sou round, and so natural. Hope you like it as much as I do.

The Heart is only an Organ.

Or at least, that's what Jordan Schwartz (Sir Nadroj) thinks. In his latest freaky, slightly disturbing, loads of tentacles are grabbing a heart, dragging it to the very dark depths of hell. Well, that's how I interpret it. It's modern art, this is all to be expected.

So here's the picture, and a link to the MOCpages page , because Schwartz has blocked people from copying images from his Flickr. ARGH!

Hr-18 Interceptor.

The Hr-18 Interceptor by Dr. X. is a multi-role craft, capable of carrying a variety of ordnance.


I love the two-man cockpit on this model, and the lovely curve in front of the wing - I bet this is an awesome swoosher.

Steeple Brink Cove & Cruel Coppinger

I like Pirates stuff, but I don't build in the theme, so on that basis you could probably say that Pirates aren't really "my thing" - but I do like this little cove by Derfel Cadarn.


I especially like the brick effect on the pier - I know this is not a new method, but I do think it is particularly effective here.

The whole hustle and bustle of the scene with the rocks either side makes this an immediate fave'.

Mongeese? Mongooses?

Please excuse the title. I was trying to find the plural for 'Nickre's newest creation: a remake of the Halo Mongoose he made a year ago.

STOP! STOP! Yes, I DO know it's a Halo creation. I admit that. Don't spam my inbox, please. It exhibits excellent building techniques, 'k?

Whirlpool of doom!

The pirates in this scene by SlyOwl are in a spot of bother - not only are their sails tattered and torn, their supplies overboard, but they are destined to end their days at the bottom of the ocean, spiralling down to the sea bed in a gigantic whirlpool... Lovely stuff.

'Ticha'

Sir Nadroj brings us Ticha, an interesting humanoid mecha. Ticha (whose name and look bear a resemblance to Tigger, in my mind) has 26 points of articulation and a poseable tail. My only criticism is that it could have had a better face - something with a smiling mouth, or at least two eyes. And stripes!

Brewery

Now, this is where it gets interesting. We have here a very fine brewery. Some people are actually tasting the beer. So when it gets to the pub... there's none left.

Udronotto: Vesto Ergo Sum

Flickr's resident Lego genius Udronotto (Marco Pece) also enters competitions, as seen in this picture, titled 'Vesto Ergo Sum'. Memory's Power Tractor

As we move from February to March, we enter a whole new month - and whole new variation - of MOCs. That great Flickr user Memory brings us the second Power Miners-style tractor I've seen so far, but it's certainly the best and the cutest. And, for those of you with set no. 8958 (myself included), you'll be happy to know this was used with parts from that set, and that set only. So go get building!

Mini 10195.

I've always admired Tim Goddard's superb micro Star Wars vehicles and dioramas. Here's his solution to anyone who might be strapped for cash to buy the new 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT.

Rocket Science.

This retro' style rocket by Fazoom is super-swooshable and very pleasing to the eye. The curved wingtips are a particularly nice touch as is hinged cockpit which may not open the way you would expect...

Birthday cake

Well, it was my birthday recently, so I thought I'd celebrate by adding this random cake to Brickspace. The yellow face in the top right corner seems to be eyeing it up, but it's all mine.

Apart from the really annoying titles and lack of story, this video is pretty good. It's smooth, and pretty funny. One thing though, those spring sounds are SO ANNOYINGLY LOUD! It was created by Olsonstudios and you can view it on YouTube by clicking her.

Coming ashore

I really like this pirate MOC, Coming ashore, by delucks. I like the way it's laid out, and the photo is a good angle. The attention to detail is great, and he's even got the smooth bricks on the side to finish it off.

Confrontations of a Zombie kind...

I've just discovered Brick Art!san , an amazing MOCpages user, and here's his offering into the Post-Apoc community: a Post-Apoc Guntruck, named the 'Z-Slayer'. I love the use of netting on the top, and those barbed wire wheels in front, to take down any zombies wandering in the road. Ouch.

And I can't go without mentioning the driver's face: formidable is an understatement!
